With its high kernel content Brochan will deliver a high groat yield to the miller and is therefore targeted at the premium oat market. The short straw of Brochan and excellent resistance to lodging allows the crops to be grown more confidently with or without growth regulators and provides an option to increase nitrogen to boost yield.
Its unique plant architecture and compact panicle give Brochan tremendous visual appeal.
