Monterey is a high yielding quality wheat for the UK biscuit and export markets.
Monterey has good disease resistance, particularly to both rusts, Septoria and Fusarium. it is also OWBM resistant.
Monterey produces high yields both treated and untreated. Monterey performs particularly well on heavy and fen soils.

Monterey has a very good HFN and an outstanding specific weight and potential for the biscuit and export markets.
Monterey is similar in height to Alchemy and Solstice.
Monterey shows good resistance to diseases, particularly both yellow and brown rust, Septoria and Fusarium. It is resistant to OWBM.
