Established Milling Oat
Mascani remains the most widely grown winter oat in the UK, but is now being superceded by new higher yielding, quality varieties, such as Cromwell.
It is a stiff strawed variety with good disease resistance.
With its high kernel content, excellent specific weight, large grains and low screening losses, Mascani remains popular.
