Superb new malting variety
NOS Gambit joins the AHDB RL 2024 as one of the highest yielding malting varieties.
It is currently under test by the MBC for brewing.
It is also commercially available in other European countries, including Scandanavia where it is in testing for Danish
Preferred as a candidate.
NOS Gambit produces very high yields in all regions of the UK. It has short, stiff straw with excellent brackling resistance and is relatively early to ripen. With excellent grain quality – a high specific weight and very low screenings, NOS Gambit should be a popular choice.
