Group 3 for the North
Almara is a Group 3 RL wheat for the North , for use in all soft wheat markets - distilling, biscuit, export and feed.
It combines high northern yields with other desired characteristics – stiff straw, early ripening, very good disease
resistance, a high specific weight and distilling potential.
Almara has excellent disease resistance, particularly to yellow rust and mildew which is an increasing problem in the North.
