Commercial Sales Associate
Senova is a leading private, independent seed marketing and crop development company.
As a representative for plant breeders from across the UK and the EU our portfolio is diverse and features all combinable crops, from wheat and barley to beans and linseed.
Senova are looking to recruit a Commercial Sales Associate to work alongside the existing team.
This is an exciting and varied role that offers the opportunity for excellent personal development and progression.
It is a full time, permanent position based at the Senova office in Great Abington, Cambridge and will require some UK travel. Training will be offered where necessary and a competitive package is available for the right candidate.
About the role…
- Sales of all Senova products to generate maximum return on company owned IP.
- Customer visits, presentations and attend open days to promote the business and product portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships within the agricultural seed industry and also the wider industry, including
processors and end users.
- Placing and negotiation of seed production contracts with new and existing growers.
- Monitoring sales positions and targets.
- Crop visits and inspections.
- Production planning and allocation.
- General sales administration.
About you…
- Experience in sales role.
- Ability to quickly build relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Self motivated, capable of working alone and as part of a small team.
- Good IT skills, particularly MS Office.
- Interest in agriculture may be beneficial.
- UK driving license.
