VALERIE

Valerie 2-row feed barley

The Strong Performer - BaYMV strain 1 and 2 resistance

Valerie is a two-row feed barley which offers growers the complete package of superb grain quality, high yields and impressive agronomics and disease resistance.

Valerie yields well in all regions and particularly the East. It is an attractive variety, which produces a sea of bright ears and big bold grains, has a high specific weight and the lowest screening losses on the winter barley RL – all important characteristics required by the market.

Valerie shows excellent resistance to lodging, has early maturity and robust resistance to the major diseases and BaYMV, importantly both strains 1 and 2 as it is an Rym5 variety. It is a popular choice for all regions.

Exceptional Grain Quality

Valerie has superb grain quality with a specific weight above

70 kg/hl.

It has big, bold grains with a high specific weight and once again by far the lowest screening losses on the winter barley RL - all important characters required by the market.
